As an editor, you will serve as the stabilizing force in all editorial activities within the Dramaturgy Department at Dutch National Opera (DNO). You will support the dramaturgs with a wide range of publications, such as the season brochure, the Odeon magazine, program books, and libretto editions. You ensure the quality and consistency of texts. You oversee clear editorial processes, maintain an overview of schedules, and serve as a point of contact for colleagues from various departments.
The position is a 0.5 FTE position (1 FTE equals 38 hours per week). The workload is not evenly distributed throughout the year. For example, from October through March, the position may require approximately four days of work per week, while from April through September, it may require approximately one day of work per week. The exact details will be determined in consultation.

You’re able to maintain a clear overview of complex production processes, ensuring quality, consistency, and structure in all our publications.
