HR Officer

As an HR Officer, you’ll be an indispensable part of a close-knit HR team that includes an HR Advisor, a fellow HR Officer, and a Payroll Specialist. Together, you’ll support approximately 90 employees and 400 independent arts professionals—with energy, a sense of ownership, and a positive attitude!

Behind the scenes, there is a lot of work to be done to make artistic and cultural activities possible and to continue building a strong organization.

In your all-around role, you’ll handle everything related to HR administration and HR processes. You’ll switch effortlessly between day-to-day tasks, operational support, and helping to draft policy documents. It’s a dynamic position in which you’ll contribute ideas and actively help build a professional HR organization. No two days are the same—and that’s exactly what energizes you!

What you will be doing

You will handle all HR administrative tasks, from recruitment and selection to termination of employment, including processing personnel changes, managing employee files, and managing the HR and job application inboxes.
You ensure a smooth start and end to the employment relationship for employees, interns, and volunteers. You also manage the process of contracting with independent arts professionals and other external parties flawlessly.
You provide support and advice—both when asked and on your own initiative—to managers and employees on day-to-day HR issues and monitor laws and regulations.
You keep HR processes up to date, identify bottlenecks (based on reports), and make recommendations for improvements that promote simplicity and efficiency and contribute to sound decision-making.
You'll help develop new HR policies, draft proposals, and contribute to HR projects and implementations.
You will inform employees and managers about HR processes, systems, and employment terms and conditions.
You will maintain contact with, among others, the Tax Authority, the pension fund, insurers, and the occupational health and safety service, and ensure that agreements are followed through.

What we offer you

An employment contract, initially for a term of 1 year. The salary, depending on knowledge and experience, ranges from €3,375 to €5,085 gross per month (scale 9, Art Education Collective Bargaining Agreement) based on a 36-hour workweek.
Attractive benefits under the Arts Education Collective Bargaining Agreement, including an Individual Choice Budget of 13.4% of your gross monthly salary. In addition, SKVR contributes to your pension premiums, and you are entitled to vacation and holiday leave.
