As a food watchdog, Foodwatch Netherlands—part of theinternational Foodwatch organization—exposes food-related abuses and uses our campaigns to call on the food industry and the government to take action!
In Amsterdam, we work with a small team of ten people who are dedicated to improving consumers’ right to safe, fair, and healthy food. Among other things, we fight against hazardous substances in our food, advocate for independent food science, and push for a ban on marketing to children. As a food watchdog, we expose food scandals, tackle fraud and conflicts of interest, and call out deceptive practices.
To keep pace with our organization’s growth, we are looking for an administrative assistant to join our fundraising team. In this role, you will help ensure that our financial and donor-related administrative tasks and communications are handled accurately and in a timely manner. This data forms the foundation for our fundraising efforts and enables us to carry out our campaigns, because our donors make our work possible.
