The challenges in the physical sector are immense. That is why we are expanding and looking for two business controllers:
As a business controller, you will provide (proactive) advice to various stakeholders at the executive and management levels. You will work closely with a team of financial controllers and fellow business controllers. In your role as a business controller, you serve as the point of contact and a sounding board for colleagues. You provide advice on risks, opportunities, and threats, as well as on how to manage them. Additionally, you ensure that activities within the accounts are efficient and lawful. You ensure that management proposals meet the requirements of efficiency and lawfulness.
You will also be involved in providing advice and support regarding the acquisition and accountability of grants from other government agencies, for example. You will make a significant contribution to the planning and control cycle. Developments in this field are happening at a rapid pace. You will therefore be actively committed to the further development of the field and the team.
The Finance & Control department, with approximately 60 colleagues (business controllers, financial controllers, and risk managers), is undergoing significant growth. We work closely with De Connectie, an implementing organization that provides services to three municipalities in areas such as financial administration, human resources and payroll administration, and IT.
