The Arnhem-Ede-Nijmegen-Achterhoek Regional Dispute Resolution Committee is a body that handles disputes between employees of municipalities, joint arrangements, and safety regions and their employers. We are looking for two enthusiastic and committed members to join this committee. Are you looking for a meaningful and varied volunteer role? If so, please read on.
The Dispute Committee is responsible for resolving individual disputes when the employer and the employee are unable to reach an agreement. The committee reviews disputes for admissibility, hears from the parties and others, conducts an investigation to establish the facts, and reports its findings to the employer and the employee. The report includes a binding recommendation to the employer. The Dispute Committee is supported by an administrative secretary.
The Dispute Resolution Committee has the authority to hear cases relating to the following three areas:
The number of hearing days depends on the number of applications received. At a minimum, four hearing days are scheduled each year.
The Dispute Resolution Committee consists of a chairperson and four members (as a member, you may serve as acting chairperson when necessary). The committee members will take turns attending meetings. At every meeting of the committee, two members are always present in addition to the chairperson. The regular location for meetings is Arnhem, but the Dispute Committee may determine a different venue depending on the disputes submitted.

Please note: This is a volunteer position. Therefore, no salary, but you will receive a stipend per meeting for your efforts and time. Due to a technical issue in the system , the job posting incorrectly lists a salary — this not applicable.
