Become our new Face-to-Face Channel Manager: help make our mission for a green future a reality.
No resources, no action. At Greenpeace, we don’t do what’s politically feasible; we do what’s necessary to protect our planet. But to keep our fleet at sea and give our campaigns the momentum they need, we need supporters who stand behind us. Are you a strategic connector who spots opportunities in the market and knows how to turn them into sustainable revenue? Then we need you.
As a Face-to-Face Channel Manager, you’ll be a fundraiser for Greenpeace Netherlands and part of the Marketing, Acquisition & Loyalty Team. This team focuses on attracting and retaining supporters and donors. It drives growth in our supporter base and fosters strong, long-term engagement. Using marketing, data, and smart campaigns, this team is building a larger and stronger movement.
What will you be doing?
You are the driving force behind our growth and ensure that we continuously engage new donors in our mission. You are the driving force behind managing and improving an ambitious face-to-face program. You’ll work as part of an enthusiastic team of specialists, and together you’ll manage fundraising programs that are entirely focused on attracting new financial supporters. You’ll work toward a single goal: connecting more people to our mission.
- Face-to-Face: You will independently coordinate the face-to-face fundraising program through external agencies. You will serve as their primary point of contact, monitor the schedule, manage the budget, and ensure that ambassadors at doorsteps or on the street are able to inspire potential donors to support Greenpeace. To this end, you’ll also manage and optimize our online training tool in collaboration with colleagues from the Ambassador Team.
- Quality: You focus closely on KPIs such as retention, ROI, and Lifetime Value (LTV). You ensure the integrity of the recruitment process; we don’t just want more donors—we want the right donors who will remain engaged over the long term.
- Optimization: You dive into the CRM and critically analyze the results: what’s working, and where are we missing opportunities? You translate this data and international best practices into concrete improvements, ensuring that every euro contributes as much as possible to our campaigns.
- Innovation: The market is changing, and you’re changing with it. You test new propositions, experiment with innovative recruitment methods, and have the courage to adjust course when the numbers call for it.
- Strategic: You identify social trends and market developments. You translate these insights into well-defined annual plans that ensure the long-term growth of our private fundraising efforts.
Who are you?
You’re a business professional who understands that fundraising is a craft. You’ve already gained experience in acquisition and know how to make campaigns successful. You’re energetic, results-oriented, and believe in the impact of Greenpeace.
- Experience: You have a background in fundraising, with proven experience in direct marketing, managing external agencies, and developing strategies to attract new donors.
- Results-oriented: Setting clear goals and achieving results is second nature to you. You focus your actions and decisions on actually making the desired impact.
- Analytical & Creative: You combine numerical insight with creativity. You quickly identify areas for improvement, enjoy testing new ideas, and aren’t afraid to explore new avenues.
- Communication Skills: You have a way with words and have an excellent command of both Dutch and English.
- Team Player: You enjoy working with others, are approachable, and know how to get people on board. You seek to build connections with colleagues so that together you can achieve the best results.
- Education: You have a higher vocational education (HBO) or higher vocational education plus (HBO+) level of work and thinking.
