A victim who receives appropriate and up-to-date psychosocial support more quickly. An organization that operates in a future-proof manner with cohesive projects and innovative services. Or a Board of Directors that receives expert advice on strategic decisions regarding support. As Program Manager for the Modernization of Psychosocial Support at Victim Support Netherlands, you will steer innovation that makes a difference. Apply today and help build the support of tomorrow.

From vision to innovation: modernize psychosocial support.

This will be your job

As Program Manager, you are the driving force behind the modernization of Victim Support Netherlands’ psychosocial support services. Together with your program team and key implementation staff, you will breathe new life into the support we provide and identify opportunities to develop new emotional support services. You will advise the Board of Directors and serve as a sounding board for senior leadership and management. Within the program, you will coordinate the various projects, ensure their coherence and quality, and steer the process and content. You will ensure alignment with other projects and ensure the program’s successful implementation within the organization. In this role, you will report substantively to the strategic advisor for psychosocial support at the SHN Knowledge Institute. The program has already begun, and there is ample room for you to shape it according to your own vision.

This is what it's all about

Your work is intellectually challenging, strategic, and socially relevant. You’ll be at the heart of developments that matter to victims. Your efforts make a real difference and have a direct impact on both policy and people. In addition, you’ll receive:

  • A one-year contract with an option to renew.
  • Training opportunities and access to the Skills Town learning platform.
  • A personalized budget: 26 additional hours of leave, 8% vacation pay, and an 8.3% year-end bonus—to be used however you like. (Based on a 36-hour workweek)
  • An NS business card, for business travel in second class.
  • An individual career budget.

Who are you?

You develop a program that provides direction and inspires others. You know how to engage others at both the operational and policy levels and are a collaborative, persuasive communicator. In addition, you bring the following:

  • University-level work and thinking skills.
  • Extensive experience in managing processes and programs.
  • Substantive knowledge of the (psycho)social field and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strong in communication, organizational awareness, and excellent consulting skills.
  • Vision, initiative, and the ability to persuade others to turn the program into action.
