Wakker Dier fights for a life of dignity for all animals in the livestock industry. Our vigilant actions and relentless commitment have made us both heard and feared within the food industry. That is why our campaigns are bringing about real change. For example, battery-cage eggs and factory-farmed chicken have virtually disappeared from all Dutch supermarkets.
But we won’t rest until all animals in the Dutch livestock industry are treated with respect. We are proud of our professional organization, which consistently generates media attention for these forgotten animals. We strive for an inclusive organizational culture where everyone feels welcome. Working in ethnically diverse teams makes our work more enjoyable and innovative. For Wakker Dier’s fundraising team, we are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and driven
FUNDRAISER – NEW DONORS (32–36 hours)
As a new donor fundraiser, you’ll be responsible for generating leads, converting leads, and directly recruiting new donors for Wakker Dier. Together with your colleagues on the fundraising team, you’ll develop new (online) campaigns and initiatives to engage our supporters in our work. Our donors are at the heart of everything we do: they truly make a difference for animals in the livestock industry.
Our team is eager to become more diverse. We are therefore looking for a candidate from a different (ethnic) background who can bring a fresh and open perspective to our organization. We encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply, even if you are not yet fully familiar with the livestock industry and our approach.

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in communications and/or marketing. You have at least three years of professional work experience; experience with email marketing software and CMS systems is a plus. Are you confident and do you share our vision for animals, including through your own consumption habits? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
