Will you be our new Dynamics Specialist?
You'll be working on this team
You will be working within the Technology team, part of the Tech & Data cluster at UNICEF Netherlands. This team is responsible for managing and further developing our digital infrastructure. Our modern architecture is based on the Dynamics 365 suite, the Azure data platform, and the Optimizely environment.
The team consists of two other Dynamics specialists, an infrastructure specialist, a systems engineer, an online specialist, and a team manager.
You will also work closely with the data team, the business consultants within the Tech & Data cluster, and the Dynamics key users from all other departments at UNICEF Netherlands.
What you will be doing
- You will manage and optimize our Dynamics 365 environment, with a focus on Dynamics Customer Insights Journeys (CRM)
- You will serve as the backup for Dynamics Finance & Operations, the API environment, and other related Dynamics functionalities.
- You translate functional requirements into a scalable design and practical solutions.
- You will ensure data quality and ensure that entities, fields, relationships, and data processes are properly configured.
- You ensure privacy compliance (GDPR) across all Dynamics processes.
- You will collaborate with key users from departments such as Retail, Business, Customer Service, and Finance, and help ensure the optimal use of Dynamics
- You work with Microsoft API Management, Power Automate, Azure services, or other integration technologies.
- You translate complex Dynamics technology into clear insights for your colleagues.
- You will collaborate with external partners and serve as an expert within the organization regarding the Dynamics platform.
Here’s what we’re asking
- Extensive experience (5–10 years) with Dynamics 365 (Marketing, Customer Insights, Sales, or other modules), both as a functional consultant and in a hands-on technical role
- You hold relevant Microsoft Dynamics certifications
- Strong technical understanding of application architecture, integrations, and process automation.
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is required.
- Experience with or knowledge of C# is a plus
- Knowledge of data processing and API integrations.
- Experience with marketing platforms and CDPs (such as Optimizely) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills: you keep stakeholders and other relevant parties informed in a natural, approachable manner, and you make technical topics easy to understand and apply.
- College or university level of work and thinking.
- You’re a hands-on person with a strong sense of ownership.

- A competitive salary ranging from €3,640 to €5,190 gross per month (based on a 38-hour workweek), depending on your knowledge and experience.
