
The Stadsschouwburg and the PHIL are Haarlem’s two largest venues. Every year, we organize more than 400 events: from hip-hop to dance, theater, and cabaret at the Stadsschouwburg, and from pop and classical concerts to soul performances, television productions, corporate events, and conferences at the PHIL. With a passionate team, we work to make all of this possible.
Due to our expanding programming and internal changes within our team, we are looking for a Duty Manager to work 24 hours per week.
We are a single organization with two prominent venues in the heart of Haarlem. Our team consists of 55 full-time staff members, 50 hospitality staff, and a group of dedicated volunteers. Together, we ensure that all performances and events run smoothly.
The Hospitality & Events department is led by the Head of Hospitality & Events and consists of five duty managers, four production and sales managers, fifty hospitality staff members, twenty volunteers, and five backstage staff. We are a diverse team and strive to create a work environment where everyone feels welcome and valued.
As Duty Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that a performance or event runs smoothly. Here are some of your duties:
