The Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK) aims to sustainably increase the diversity of its workforce, specifically by hiring people who would otherwise struggle to find employment without support. As a coordinator, you will work with internal and external colleagues to create jobs for people listed in the UWV target group registry at the academies and the Service Bureau. Within the AHK, you will collaborate with the contact persons (and directors) of the academies, the Service Bureau, and HR advisors. In addition, you will work with external placement agencies (including SWOM and WSP) and Zestor, the higher professional education labor market fund.
As coordinator, you will be responsible for convening the steering group—which includes representatives from all the academies and the Service Bureau—motivating colleagues, and reporting the results to the Executive Board, directors, and the Diversity Steering Group. In addition, you will organize meetings and inspirational sessions for job applicants, hiring managers, and supervisors.
The Amsterdam University of the Arts comprises the Breitner Academy, the Academy of Architecture, the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, the Netherlands Film Academy, the Reinwardt Academy, and the Academy of Theatre and Dance. Through a wide range of specialized higher professional education programs at the bachelor’s and master’s levels, the AHK prepares students for careers in the national and international fields of art, culture, and heritage. Within the AHK, support services are centrally housed in the Service Bureau, which consists of the departments of Corporate Control, Central Administration and Procurement, ICT, Information Management, Facilities and Management, HR, and Education, Research, and Communication.
The AHK is offering an exciting position at a socially responsible organization in a pleasant work environment. We work on-site for about 60% of the time and from home for 40%. If you prefer to work exclusively on-site, that is an option.
The position is classified in pay grade 10 under the HBO collective bargaining agreement (maximum €4,569.57 gross per month for full-time employment). Appointment and compensation are in accordance with the collective labor agreement for higher professional education; the starting salary depends in part on education, experience, and previous salary. This is initially a one-year appointment, with the possibility of extension. A competitive benefits package is offered. If you become our new colleague, we will require a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) upon starting employment.
