The Service Bureau of the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK) is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Education and Human Resources & Organization departments.
Does coordinating training activities for AHK faculty and staff sound like music to your ears? If so, you’ll be the go-to person for our colleagues in Training and Development.
We are looking for someone who can effectively organize the AHK’s professional development activities for both faculty and non-teaching staff.
What will you be doing?
- You will plan, organize, coordinate, and facilitate training activities within the AHK and monitor their progress;
- You will serve as the primary point of contact for managers, prospective participants, and current participants regarding training and development;
- You will organize and coordinate the registration, enrollment, and participation process for employees in educational programs and training courses;
- You will be responsible for the accurate recording, reporting, and management of information, agreements, and contracts related to education and training programs, in consultation with the relevant parties;
- You will coordinate the scheduling and organization of training sessions with trainers and instructors;
- You will maintain and build relationships with (external) trainers and instructors.
What are you bringing?
- You have a degree at the MBO level or higher;
- You have at least one year of relevant work experience in a similar position;
- Using your knowledge of education and training programs, you will inform, guide, and support your colleagues in an accessible and clear manner;
- You are proactive and meticulous.

The position is classified in pay scale 8 in accordance with the CAO-HBO (maximum €4,084.43 gross per month for full-time employment). Hiring and compensation are in accordance with the CAO-HBO; pay scale placement depends in part on education, experience, and previous salary. This is initially a one-year appointment, with the prospect of permanent employment. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a solid pension plan, travel allowance, and approximately 482 vacation hours per year (for full-time employment). Hybrid work is also an option at our company. A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is required for this position.
