
As an insurance contract manager, you’ll be the central point of contact for various insurance policies, but you’ll also be responsible for procuring all the resources and services needed by the Amsterdam-Amstelland Safety Region!
This is a combined role as an insurance contract manager (50%) and procurement advisor (50%). The insurance contract manager serves as the internal and external point of contact for all matters related to the various insurance policies. You manage the contracts and monitor the quality and progress of the services provided. As a procurement advisor, you also advise on and oversee procurement processes. You independently conduct (multi-party) private and European tenders in the areas of supplies, services, ICT, and construction. You will also act as a procurement advisor in interregional and national projects and participate in interregional and national consultation structures. When necessary, you will serve as an independent project leader for procurement projects. You are a member of the Procurement and Contracts Team and contribute to fostering collaboration and engagement.
With your experience, you know how to achieve optimal results within the framework of procurement policies and applicable laws and regulations. You are results-oriented and know how to strike the right balance between professionalism and a people-oriented approach.

The Procurement and Contracts Team is responsible for procurement processes and contract management. The Procurement and Contracts Team is part of the Facilities Management Department and is located at the Security Center (Galwin 3 in Amsterdam).
