Your playing field

Thanks to your efforts, we gain insight into the commercial and financial performance of TOTO Casino. In doing so, you directly contribute to a happy, healthy, and active Netherlands. We focus on the following issues:

• Are we recruiting and retaining the right players at the right cost?
• Are we targeting the right audience, and what is the optimal CRM strategy for this industry?
• To what extent does product development contribute to the profitability of the TOTO Casino vertical?

As a Business Controller, you’ll excel by:

• (further) developing and establishing the financial framework for new games within TOTO Casino.
• serve as a strong partner to the multidisciplinary team responsible for the performance of TOTO Casino.
• making suggestions for improvement and providing both solicited and unsolicited advice to the multidisciplinary team and TOTO management.
• Provide timely and accurate periodic management information to the MDT (including financial reports, analyses, and decision-making calculations), so that you can work with the MDT to steer the organization toward its KPIs.
• Performing Planning & Control tasks such as: month-end closing, forecasting, and the business plan.

You’ll probably also want to know this: As a Business Controller at Nederlandse Loterij, you’ll be part of a team of seven other Business Controllers. You’ll report to the Manager of Business Control, who reports directly to the CFO, and will also work closely with the Business Controllers at TOTO Casino and TOTO Sport.

Your talent

• a completed master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Economics, or Economics.
• Training as a Certified Controller is preferred.
• Approximately 3–5 years of work experience in a commercial business control role, with a focus on revenue and profitability.

You’re curious, inquisitive, and data-driven. While your colleagues get bogged down in day-to-day tasks, you maintain a broad perspective and bring structure to the team. You’re not afraid to challenge your colleagues on their good ideas and prefer to see them backed up by data. When necessary, you’re not afraid to say “no.”

Your score

As a Business Controller, we offer you:

• A salary ranging from €4,950 to €7,100 gross per month, depending on your experience
• an attractive bonus plan.
• a full-time position (40 hours per week).
• For €3.00, you can enjoy a healthy and varied lunch in our company cafeteria.
