As a Partnership Advisor at SVDJ, you will contribute to SVDJ’s partnerships and network. You will regularly engage with stakeholders, partners, alumni, and other interested parties, identify their needs, and follow up on these with colleagues. You will maintain existing contacts,communities, and networks. You will actively seek out new partners, organizations, or stakeholders relevant to the organization. You will also develop a broader networking strategy for SVDJ as a whole and help colleagues implement it.
As a Collaboration Advisor, you will be part of the Data Collection & Processing team. In addition to you, this team consists of the Research Coordinator and two Strategic Advisors. You will serve as the link between the journalism sector and your colleagues at SVDJ. You know better than anyone how to network, maintain contacts, and identify the sector’s needs. In doing so, you pay close attention to reciprocity: in addition to gathering shared knowledge needs, you actively contribute ideas on what SVDJ can offer stakeholders in return. Sometimes you’ll do this yourself, other times you’ll support colleagues or management in this effort. You’ll also have sufficient strategic insight to balance the interests of different types of stakeholders.

The position of Collaboration Advisor is a one-year appointment for 32–36 hours per week, with a one-month probationary period. The position may be extended based on satisfactory performance. Salary and benefits are in accordance with the CAO RIJK.
The position is classified in pay grades 10 through 12. Depending on your education and experience, the salary ranges from a minimum of €3,404.39 to a maximum of €6,907.67 gross per month for full-time employment (36 hours). In addition to your salary, you will receive an IKB (Individual Choice Budget). The IKB consists of money and time, allowing you to customize part of your employment conditions yourself.
We offer you a varied role with plenty of room for initiative and creativity. You’ll be working in a young and enthusiastic team and will report directly to management. You’ll be based at our office in The Hague, but working from home or a hybrid arrangement is also possible.

As the Journalism Stimulus Fund, we help strengthen the journalistic infrastructure in the Netherlands. We focus on organizational development, innovation, and deepening the capabilities of organizations. In addition, we are constantly seeking new areas in which to strengthen the journalistic infrastructure in a meaningful way. Our activities involve a combination of knowledge sharing, guidance, and grants.

In recent years, our organization has evolved from a more traditional grant provider into a strategic partner and a hub for knowledge sharing and innovation. As an independent administrative body (ZBO), the Stimuleringsfonds receives an annual contribution from the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, which funds all of its activities in accordance with the Media Act.
