Do you enjoy helping municipalities address their challenges related to alcohol and drugs? Then we’re looking for you!
We believe that diverse perspectives enrich our work, and we warmly invite candidates from all backgrounds and with varied experiences to apply.
Working at the Trimbos Institute means doing impactful work that adds value to society. We strive to prevent harm caused by substance use and to strengthen everyone’s mental health. We achieve this by conducting (international) scientific research on the prevention of substance use and mental health issues. We apply this knowledge by supporting and advising municipalities on prevention and by informing professionals and the general public. We write articles, advise the government, and maintain a visible presence in the media. We are proud of this important contribution to a healthy community! Our work makes a real difference in society.
With its expertise in substance use and prevention, the Trimbos Municipal Team serves as a key partner for municipalities. The team of thirteen dedicated researchers and advisors supports municipalities in developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based prevention policies. For municipalities, we conduct research, provide advice, develop policy-supporting tools, and organize knowledge transfer through workshops.
The culture at Trimbos is seen as professional, informal, open, and welcoming. Employees feel a sense of freedom and autonomy. Ideas and personal input are highly valued, allowing everyone to contribute their thoughts on various topics within the organization. The team you’ll be joining is enthusiastic and friendly. All colleagues are convinced that a diverse team with varied backgrounds and ideas helps make the work more impactful. And they all have one thing in common: the drive to create lasting impact.
