The IT department has an opening for a:
CISO Advisor (0.9 FTE)
Who are you?
You are a team player who knows how to seize opportunities and act with sensitivity when necessary. When we interview you, you will be able to convince us with examples from your practical experience as a CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) that demonstrate your ability to provide sound advice and interpret and analyze policy developments. In addition, you can draft policy memos and reports for information security policy, review regulations and procedures, and translate your findings into recommendations for changes.
What do you bring to the table?
You have a degree in information management or a related field, preferably at the associate’s degree level or higher. In addition, you have at least two years of demonstrable work experience as a CISO or in a similar role, excellent communication skills, and the ability to connect with all stakeholders. Furthermore, you possess analytical and entrepreneurial skills that allow you to implement your recommendations in a creative and innovative way. You also have a healthy sense of humor, are approachable, and maintain a visible presence.
What will you be doing?
As CISO, you present your advice and guidance with decisiveness and conviction. You do this by approaching your recommendations in a creative and innovative way. In your discussions with “the business,” you are attentive to the questions and needs of these internal partners and work with them to find solutions and contributions that better safeguard information security within the organization. In doing so, you also seek solutions that fit within and contribute to the overall information infrastructure. In an educational context, political and administrative sensitivity and action are indispensable.
