NTR is the broadcaster behind acclaimed shows such as *Het Klokhuis*, *Culture Bites*, *Dream School*, and *De Lesbische Liga*. In the fields of culture, information, education, and science, we offer content for all audiences, with programs and platforms that inspire and lead to new insights and personal growth.

Our Culture editorial team produces radio, TV, and online content about music, youth culture, and social issues. This includes content forNPO BLEND, the radio station for listeners aged 35 to 49 who love (classic) hip-hop, neo-soul, and R&B.

ForNPO BLENDand the afternoon showBridge The Gap, we are looking for a:

Editor with production responsibilities (m/f/x)

32 hours per week

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Four days a week, you will be responsible for both the content and production preparation of the radio program"Bridge The Gap" by creating scripts;

• You come up with topics, angles, and stories, and reach out to relevant guests;
• You incorporate playlists and audio into the script and edit clips as needed;
• You will work with the producer to monitor the budget and keep track of expenses;
• You will draw up contracts and negotiate rates with freelancers and temporary staff;
• You will be present at the studio in Hilversum from Monday through Thursday between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and will ensure that the broadcast runs smoothly and that the presenters have optimal working conditions;
• You will prepare the news quiz and host it during the broadcast;
• You select notable or relevant clips from the show for online use and submit them;
• You will edit radio clips for theNPO BLEND website and online channels;
• You will review the broadcasts with the team on a weekly basis and contribute ideas for improvements and new concepts.

This is you:

• You have a strong affinity for radio and a good sense ofNPO BLEND’s music mix;
• You have experience writing radio scripts and crafting compelling presentation texts;
• Based on your background, interests, or experience, you have a strong connection toNPO BLEND’s diverse target audience and core values;
• You are creative, able to handle stress, and detail-oriented. During broadcasts, you switch effortlessly between the studio host and the listener, make quick decisions, and at the same time manage to stay calm and keep a clear overview;
• You closely follow cultural and social trends and have a good understanding of what matters toNPO BLEND’s target audience;
• You work independently and proactively, but you also actively seek collaboration and communicate clearly with colleagues;
• You work in a structured manner, think ahead, and take responsibility for deadlines and quality;
• Experience with assembly and sliding is a plus;
• You are available to work in Hilversum from Monday through Thursday.

Here's what we offer:

A temporary contract from the end of August 2026 through December 31, 2026. Depending on knowledge and experience, this position will be compensated within salary grade F (€3,032.79 – €4,241.24) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Broadcasting Personnel. The other terms and conditions of employment are also in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Broadcasting Personnel.

As an NTR employee, you will receive a 6% year-end bonus, 8% vacation pay, a travel allowance, more than five weeks of vacation per year, annual salary increases, a group pension plan, and a monthly contribution toward your health insurance.
