As part of a communications team of seven professionals, you will help build the visibility and positioning of Victim Support Netherlands within an organization with more than 1,000 employees.
You will work closely with the senior spokesperson, and together you will serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries. You will write and distribute press releases, maintain contact with journalists, and contribute ideas regarding messaging, interview preparation, and the organization’s stance on current social issues. In addition, you will assist with content for social media and other media outlets, such as documentaries and podcasts.
In the event of emergencies or incidents, you are flexible and available outside of office hours if necessary.

In your role, you will help ensure that greater attention is paid to the voices and interests of victims in the media and to raising awareness of the services provided by Victim Support Netherlands.
