32–36 hours per week
As a Classical Music Programmer, you will shape the PHIL’s classical programming. You will independently develop an inspiring and distinctive program that balances the great classical canon with surprising crossovers, new formats, and original productions—including youth concerts. You think big and have the resources and freedom to bring your ideas to life.
You will work closely with our partners and colleagues on artistic programming and audience strategies. You know how to engage existing audiences and reach new ones. You also have experience experimenting with context, location, and form.
You live and breathe classical music and have a keen eye for quality, development, and innovation. You have an extensive network within the classical music sector and know how to inspire musicians to embrace shared goals. You think conceptually, work independently, and switch seamlessly between artistic and business matters.
