A colleague who has questions about the GDPR. A project exploring new technology to improve our services. And a victim who needs to be able to trust that their data is secure. Your work as a privacy officer makes a difference. You are the go-to person for privacy issues and help the organization handle personal data with care. Do you want to contribute to protecting victims? Apply today.
As a privacy officer, you are the primary point of contact within the organization for all matters related to privacy. You provide both solicited and unsolicited advice on compliance with the GDPR and other relevant laws and regulations. This applies not only to our services but also to our many innovative projects. You also ensure that the processing register is properly set up and kept up to date. You develop and deliver training sessions and awareness campaigns that raise the profile of privacy within the organization.
In addition, you will coordinate the handling and recording of data breaches and requests from data subjects, ensuring that everything is addressed in a timely and thorough manner. You will do this by supporting the work of the privacy officer and the network of privacy contact persons. You will oversee DPIA’s and ensure that areas for improvement are addressed. Finally, together with the Data Protection Officer, you will draw up the annual privacy plan and monitor its implementation, ensuring that Victim Support Netherlands continues to comply with privacy legislation and that victims can trust that their data is secure.
This is a great opportunity to put your knowledge and dedication to work for a social cause. You ensure the privacy of victims, and your colleagues can count on you. That’s why, under the Social Work Collective Bargaining Agreement, you’ll receive:
