An organization that continues to evolve in a constantly changing society. Employees who can count on modern employment practices and strong leadership. And an organization that remains agile in a time of growing demand. As Head of HR and Facilities, you’ll play a key role in guiding the further professionalization and development of our organization. You’ll connect strategy, people, and operational conditions, ensuring that we’re ready—both today and tomorrow—to provide the best possible support to victims. Interested? Apply today!

Your leadership brings people together and ensures our organization remains future-ready.

This will be your job

As Head of HR and Facilities, you will play a key role in the continued development of Victim Support Netherlands. You will bridge the gap between strategy, people, processes, and systems. You will ensure that the organization can adapt in a timely manner to internal goals, societal developments, technological innovations, and changing laws and regulations. In doing so, you will create the conditions that enable employees to perform at their best and continue to grow.

You will translate the organizational strategy into a vision for various HR topics, such as leadership, sustainable employability, and good employment practices. In doing so, you will ensure that this vision is carefully translated into processes, systems, and working methods, with a view to streamlining support for service delivery and ensuring ongoing compliance with laws and regulations.

For you, being a good employer also means creating a modern, safe, and attractive work environment. You ensure that employees have all the resources they need, both at the various locations and when working from home. Topics such as hybrid work, digitalization, sustainability, and future-oriented workspaces play a key role in this.

Thanks to your dedication, Victim Support Netherlands remains an attractive employer and an organization that can provide high-quality support to victims both today and in the future.

This is what it's all about

Thanks to your vision and leadership, we continue to grow as a professional, learning, and agile organization that is ready to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow. Together, we are working toward a society in which victims are seen, heard, and helped. You’ll also receive:

  • A one-year contract with an option to renew.
  • Training opportunities and access to the Skills Town learning platform.
  • A personalized budget: 26 additional hours of leave, 8% vacation pay, and an 8.3% year-end bonus—to be used however you like. (Subject to a 36-hour workweek)
  • An NS business card, for business travel in second class.
  • An individual career budget.

Who are you?

We are looking for a passionate HR leader who successfully guides organizations through change and development. You combine strategic insight with the ability to get things done, and you know how to get people in the organization on board with change. You are entrepreneurial, organizationally savvy, analytically strong, and a capable discussion partner for the board, executive leadership, and management. In addition, you have:

  • Extensive experience in a senior HR role within a complex organization;
  • Proven experience in organizational development, change management, and strategic HR issues;
  • Experience with process improvements that extend beyond HR and the development of management information;
  • An interest in facility management issues and housing;
  • An entrepreneurial and proactive attitude, and the ability to translate developments into policy and implementation;
