As a Psychosocial Support Specialist, youprovidepractical and psychosocial support to victims and their families. Immediately following an incident, they often require intensive and/or urgent support. You help clients manage stress-related symptoms, assist them with practical matters such as seeking compensation, provide information about the criminal justice process and victims’ rights, and refer them to external resources when necessary.
In addition, you will serve as a resource for colleagues, provide coaching, and offer advice on complex cases. You will play a key role in monitoring and improving the quality and consistency of our services, both through direct support and by participating in case reviews.
