Hooray, you’ve graduated. Congratulations! Now it’s time for the next step. Do you have anything in mind yet? I bet you haven’t thought about the library sector yet. We’re looking for 8 trainees who will carry out three diverse projects at various libraries in North and South Holland over the course of two years. Trainees from various associate’s and bachelor’s degree programs are welcome. A degree in social sciences or education is just as valuable as one in economics or business administration. Are you socially engaged and do you want to make a difference in society? Then this could be the perfect start to your career!
You might not believe it, but behind the scenes at a library organization, there’s a lot going on. There’s a great deal happening in the areas of learning and development, books (collections), digital inclusion, low literacy, organizational management, finance, and marketing. Libraries have fascinating opportunities for you.
