Your primary responsibility is to coach care providers in finding an appropriate approach to clients’ complex behaviors. In doing so, you bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and practical application. It is important that you are able to explain your assessment, analysis, and recommendations to care providers and other directly involved parties. Within the care teams you are assigned to, you will lead case discussions, provide guidance on client interaction, and contribute to enhancing the teams’ professional expertise. You will work with early intervention plans, collaborate with mental health services, and refer clients for treatment when necessary.
Thanks to your advice, our counselors gain additional tools to help our clients cope with life’s challenges and take as much control of their lives as possible. You will also be involved in policy development within the professional departments. You will focus on recovery-oriented care and a strengths-based approach. In this challenging and, above all, varied role, you will work with teams that support people facing complex issues in various areas of life.
As a behavioral specialist, you will work in theCare Development & Researchdepartment.This department consists of a research office, an innovation and digital care division, a center of expertise, and the behavioral specialists team. You will work alongside a dedicated team of 13 behavioral experts. Each of them supports various care teams and also participates in case discussions, peer review sessions, and regular team meetings. In addition, you will work closely with personal care assistants, care coordinators, and team managers within the care teams.

You know how to coach professionals to help them grow and how to apply your academic knowledge in real-world settings. You work methodically and are persuasive in your advice.
