As a Functional Administrator for HR and Payroll (PSA), you play a key role at Arkin. Your role is to ensure the smooth operation of our HR applications, such as YouForce (Beaufort) and OWS (Scheduling Package). You manage and optimize applications, resolve incidents, and ensure that users are properly trained and informed. In doing so, you’ll be in regular contact with our employees to address all kinds of questions.
Your contribution is essential to improving processes, using tools such as flowcharts and implementing new developments. You have a great deal of autonomy in this role. As a result, you can take pride in the excellent end products that are widely used throughout Arkin. For example, a new app for our employee scheduling program was launched on May 1. As a functional administrator, you make a significant contribution to the successful launch of these types of projects.
In addition, you also play a coordinating role. You serve as the link between the various teams in HR administration and payroll, as well as with colleagues in HR Compensation and Benefits and HR Business Partner. In this role, you take a proactive approach and suggest improvements when you believe they are needed.

Arkin treats more than 35,000 clients, and we do so with over 4,200 colleagues at locations in and around Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Utrecht, Amersfoort, and Hilversum.
Arkin’s PSA team is part of the HR, Payroll, and Absence Management department. You’ll be working with a total of 25 colleagues, who are divided among the functional management team, the absence management team, the payroll team, and the HR administration team. The PSA team works in a hybrid model. You can work from home or from Arkin’s headquarters on Klaprozenweg in Amsterdam North on the NDSM site.
The PSA team ensures reliable and effective HR and payroll administration and assists managers and employees with procedures, policies, and collective bargaining agreement issues. They also handle absence tracking and schedule management for the organization.
