No resources, no action. At Greenpeace, we don’t do what’s politically feasible; we do what’s necessary to protect our planet. But to keep our fleet at sea and give our campaigns the momentum they need, we need supporters who stand behind us. Are you a strategic connector who spots opportunities in the market and knows how to turn them into sustainable revenue? Then we need you.

What will you be doing?

The Fundraising & Engagement Department is the driving force behind Greenpeace’s impact. Here, we build the relationships that make our work possible and secure the resources needed to fund our mission. The department consists of four teams.

As a Loyalty Fundraiser you are part of the Team Marketing, Acquisition & Loyalty. This team focuses on attracting and retaining supporters and donors. It drives growth of the supporter base and fosters strong, long-term engagement. Using marketing, data and smart campaigns, this team builds a larger and stronger movement.

  • Strategy & Innovation: You will develop and implement strategies to increase donor loyalty, retention, and value growth. You will coordinate and oversee the strategic and annual plans within the Loyalty unit and lead the strategic and operational management of Supporter Care.
  • Responsibility for results: You oversee the results of the various loyalty programs—including revenue forecasts, budgets, and donor numbers—and report on them monthly.
  • Loyalty and value enhancement: You will develop and implement loyalty and value enhancement programs that deeply connect donors with our mission and inspire them to deepen their engagement with Greenpeace.
  • Collaboration: You will work closely with the Marketing, Acquisition, Data Insights, and Development teams to strengthen fundraising strategies. You will maintain and build relationships with various stakeholders and partners to expand and strengthen our supporter base.

Who are you?

You are an entrepreneurial spirit with a keen eye for opportunities and a passion for our mission. You combine analytical insight with the courage to explore new avenues. In a dynamic organization like ours, you know how to inspire others and deliver results.

  • Experienced Fundraiser – You have a strong background in fundraising, with proven experience in developing strategies for donor loyalty, retention, and value enhancement.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills – You know how to translate data and insights into long-term strategies and forecasts.
  • Strong financial and budgeting skills – You can prepare revenue forecasts and budgets and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration-focused connector – You effortlessly coordinate between teams and departments and serve as the link between fundraising, campaigns, and supporter engagement. Within your own unit, you oversee the day-to-day operations and maintain an overview of the progress of the annual plan.
  • Decisive and results-oriented – You know how to deliver results within a dynamic, mission-driven organization and adapt flexibly to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English – You communicate clearly and persuasively in both languages, both in writing and verbally.
