Voorlinden offers a complete experience of art, nature, and architecture—an oasis in the bustling Randstad. With a small, enthusiastic team, we run the museum, the museum shop, and the restaurant. We curate exhibitions, offer a rich program of accompanying events, stock the museum shop with our own merchandise and beautiful design items, and organize various events in our museum and restaurant.
As a financial controller, you will work alongside your colleagues in the financial administration department to play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will share responsibility for various accounting and financial processes related to the museum, the gift shop, and the restaurant. Your work, findings, and analyses form the foundation of our financial records and ensure that the organization continues to operate effectively and efficiently.
What will you be doing?
- You manage and are responsible for multiple financial accounting systems within the organization.
- You are responsible for payroll administration and related payroll processing, consulting, and payments.
- Review and enter incoming and outgoing invoices, and prepare payments.
- Prepare tax returns and assist with audits.
- Prepare financial statements and various reports for the different entities and departments.
- Optimize and automate administrative workflows.
- You are the go-to person for colleagues' financial questions.
- Assist with other tasks. Since we have a small team and a wide range of asset management activities, you’re guaranteed a variety of tasks.
Who are we looking for?
- You are honest and flexible, and have knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- You will actively participate in all projects, including the management of our real estate portfolio.
- You must have completed at least a relevant associate’s degree program and have at least five years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience with Exact Online and Basecone or similar software.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English.
