Hoogt on Tour screens films that matter. It looks back on a rich cinematic history and looks ahead to the latest developments in visual culture. Hoogt on Tour initiates unique projects: from large and small festivals to retrospectives, lectures, symposia, and screenings of silent films accompanied by live music.
We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic colleague with a passion for film and a network within Utrecht’s cultural and visual arts organizations.

Hoogt on Tour (formerly Filmtheater 't Hoogt) will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2023.
Together with Fotodok and the Netherlands Film Festival, Hoogt on Tour has taken the initiative to develop the Machinerie: a new venue in Utrecht’s Werkspoorkwartier that will become the premier venue for film and visual culture. In addition to film and other visual art forms, we will also place a special focus on education, emerging artists, and talent development.
Cultural entrepreneurship is of great importance to Hoogt on Tour. Our staff are enterprising and see opportunities for our organization, including in terms of new partners, new markets, and new target audiences. That is why we frequently collaborate with other parties, such as artists, educational institutions, social service organizations, and cultural institutions.
