Healthcare providers play a vital role in the healthcare system. Think of your family doctor, physical therapist, or the hospital. For many of our policyholders, their healthcare provider is a trusted and important point of contact. That is why we support healthcare providers whenever possible and stay in touch with them. This allows them to provide better care for our members, and it helps us understand what they need from us as an insurer.

As an Expert in Healthcare Provider Inquiries, you’ll always stay in touch with the healthcare provider and ensure an optimal experience for them. Your goal is to create value for the healthcare provider. You understand that by supporting the healthcare provider, you indirectly help our members as well. You maintain constant contact with the healthcare provider, even when uncertainties arise regarding a claim or reimbursement. The healthcare provider can contact you directly for advice and to have questions answered. This can be done via chat or phone. You are professional and a good listener. As a result, you exceed the healthcare provider’s expectations.

Together with your team of about 20 people, you’ll ensure the best possible service. There’s plenty of room for you to showcase your talent and grow. Your proactive approach and strong communication skills will improve service and enhance knowledge within the team.

In addition, we offer you:

• a gross monthly salary of €3,185 based on a 38-hour workweek (pay scale E under the VGZ Collective Bargaining Agreement);
• part-time positions ranging from 28 to 38 hours per week;
• vacation pay (8%) and a thirteenth month's salary (8.33%);
• the flexibility to work from home. You’ll work in the office at least one day a week. Working from home is an option, provided you have a safe and healthy workspace, which we’ll help set up with a monthly net allowance of €40 for home internet;
• If you work 38 hours a week, you receive 208 vacation hours per year. If you want more vacation hours, you can easily purchase them through the Flexible Benefits Plan;
• an employer contribution of €60 gross per month toward your VGZ health insurance.

What you bring to the table

As our new Healthcare Provider Relations Expert, you’ll be working to promote a healthier Netherlands and drive innovation in healthcare. Thanks to your proactive approach and strong communication skills, you’ll be able to lead projects to success. You’re also empathetic and curious. In addition, you have:

• a completed Level 4 vocational diploma;
• proactive in initiating improvements;
• Experience with customer service over the phone (in a business setting) is preferred;
• Knowledge of and/or experience in the healthcare sector is a plus;
