If so, this position is the perfect opportunity for you!
The position
As an Education Content Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for the educational strategy and educational resources that WWF-NL produces for all levels of education in the Netherlands.
You will join the Youth & Education team, where you will be responsible for the educational program. Together with content and creative/design specialists, you will develop the most inspiring teaching materials, guest lectures, and other educational programs. You are driven to translate the key themes that WWF-NL champions into engaging educational content. You will also analyze the progress of current educational programs and actively seek out new opportunities.
In this role, you will play a key role in helping WWF-NL achieve its engagement goals, which aim to educate as many people as possible about the natural world and inspire them to take action. The Education Content Marketing Specialist reports directly to the Chapter Lead for Marketing & Studio (acting), Paul Zevenboom.

- Monitoring and expanding WWF-NL’s education strategy.
- Development and optimization of the "Future Studies" curriculum for elementary schools. You will create new lessons, but you will also be involved in further developing and expanding the program.

- In collaboration with our partner Young Impact, you will develop engaging teaching materials and devise initiatives to engage secondary school students.
- You will come up with and develop new educational resources and campaigns on your own.
- You enjoy staying up to date on what’s happening within WWF-NL and the wider world, and you regularly check in with the organization to be able to seize opportunities to develop new educational materials.
- Monitoring and adapting; you track the progress of the educational programs on a weekly basis and know how to come up with the right strategies to, for example, generate more downloads or promote a new curriculum.
- Testing and optimizing; on your own initiative, you will also need to visit schools to see how WWF-NL’s materials are used in practice and to interview teachers and students.
- Online visibility: You ensure that WWF-NL’s web pages are well-organized and easy to find, so that our users (teachers and children) can easily locate the materials.
- Emails: You will design and write emails yourself in Marketing Cloud, which will be sent to our network of teachers.
- Support for the Rangers: You’ll also regularly assist the WWF Rangers. This includes, for example, final editing of the magazines we publish, developing new content and campaigns, and serving in an advisory role when it comes to creating educational content.
