
As the first Reception and Corporate Security staff member at the Concertgebouw, you’ll work in one of the world’s most beautiful concert halls, where something unique happens every day. The Concertgebouw is one of the most visited concert halls in the world, hosting more than 700 concerts and welcoming over 730,000 visitors each year. Our halls are renowned for their excellent acoustics—classical music sounds better here than anywhere else. But we also offer many other genres, such as pop, video game music, jazz, film music, and hip-hop. This allows us to appeal to an increasingly diverse audience, which will remain a key focus for us in the coming years.
We generate 95% of our revenue ourselves. With a passionate, close-knit, and friendly team, we ensure that every visitor has an unforgettable experience.
You are a certified security guard with leadership skills who can work independently. You also have sufficient technical knowledge to resolve minor malfunctions. Experience with Office 365 is a plus. You are always alert and keep a cool head, even under pressure. You truly know how to make a difference at crucial moments. You work variable shifts that alternate between busy and quiet periods. Asthe firstpoint of contact for Reception and Corporate Security, you are responsible for closely monitoring who and what enters and exits the building, given its semi-open layout. You are often the first person our guests speak to, and you direct them to the appropriate staff members. You serve as theprimarypoint of contact for both customers and employees.
