As an experienced executive secretary (management assistant) at Cordaan, Amsterdam’s largest healthcare organization, you’ll have the opportunity to work for the director and the HR, Quality & Innovation (HRK&I) department. In this role, you will not only be a reliable support in day-to-day secretarial and organizational operations, but also a valuable strategic partner who contributes ideas and helps set priorities. With your proactive attitude and sharp insight, you will ensure that the director and MT members receive optimal support in their work and can maintain their focus on our most important asset: our colleagues.

What will you be doing?

As an executive secretary at Cordaan in the HRK&I department, you’ll work in a dynamic and complex environment where no two days are alike. You’ll support the director and five management team members, and use your experience to make independent decisions about what deserves priority. You have a clear overview and understand what’s on the agenda, can provide guidance, and independently assess where action is needed. In addition, you enjoy:

  • Setting priorities and thinking ahead
  • Contributing ideas and brainstorming
  • Organize and support meetings
  • Take the lead on independent projects and handle internal communications

You’ll have a great deal of autonomy and the freedom to make your own decisions. You’ll know when to get to work on your own and when to consult with the director or members of the management team. Thanks to your analytical mindset and independence, you’ll make a direct contribution to the progress of key departmental goals.

What you already have:

  • At least5 years of experiencein a similar role.
  • Proven experience inmanaging complex schedulesand supporting multiple executive team members.

What do we offer?

The terms of employment for the position of executive secretary are in accordance with the VVT collective bargaining agreement:

  • A one-year contract for32 to 36 hours perweek
  • A salary ranging from at least€3,253.00to€4,480.00gross, based on a 36-hour workweek
  • An end-of-year bonus equal to 8.33% of gross annual income and an annual vacation allowance of 8%;

As an executive secretary, you’ll work in the HRK&I department, where you’ll contribute to the heart of Cordaan—the largest healthcare organization in Amsterdam. Here, you’ll not only support the director and management team members but also build relationships with a network of about 130 colleagues. In this dynamic role, no two days are the same, and with your talent for organizing and connecting, you’ll make a valuable difference in day-to-day operations.
