We are currently seeking a:
Social Media Content Creator (30 hours per week / 0.8 FTE)
The language of instruction is Dutch.
What will you be doing?
- You’ll come up with and create creative social media content for our campaigns (visuals, interactive content, memes, and impactful videos).
- You ensure effective online engagement. You actively post and respond to messages on the appropriate platforms.
- You identify relevant trends in the online world and know exactly how to capitalize on them with engaging content and visuals.
- You can easily translate creative concepts into compelling visuals.
What are you bringing?
- You have a good understanding of creative software such as Canva, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- You're an excellent writer.
- You’re digitally savvy. You’re up to date on the latest trends in your field and have a clear understanding of where the online world is headed. And you’re full of energy to capitalize on those trends.
- You have a knack for engaging public communication through social media and online and offline mobilization.
- You share Milieudefensie’s goals.
- You can't put your phone down and are always up to date on the latest social media trends.
Who do you work with?
You will be part of the Social Media Team. As part of this team, you will work closely with communications specialists and the online team, which consists of marketers and webmasters. You will provide support to the communications specialists on our campaign teams. You will report to the online and social media team leader.

- A one-year contract.
- A salary ranging from €3,144 to €4,386, depending on your knowledge and experience, for a full-time position. At Milieudefensie, this is a 37.5-hour workweek.
