What will you be doing? 

As a cluster and project assistant, you’re the driving force that keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. You support our consultants by taking care of their organizational and administrative tasks. Complex schedule management? A tightly organized meeting? Meeting minutes that strike just the right tone? Whether the task is demanding or complex, you handle it with clarity and efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Complex schedule management and setting priorities;
  • Taking minutes of meetings and administrative networks;
  • Planning, organizing, and preparing meetings and networking events;
  • Supporting association committees in which our members work on educational strategy;
  • Supporting the Education for Newcomers (LOWAN) project team;
  • Manage systems and ensure that the (membership) records are up-to-date and well-organized.

Who are you? 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional colleague who identifies with the following:

  • You are organized, proactive, and detail-oriented;
  • You have experience with administrative and/or organizational tasks;
  • You have strong communication skills and are service-oriented;
  • You have a good understanding of administrative relationships and interests;
  • You have an excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
  • You are digitally savvy and familiar with Office applications (knowledge of AFAS is a plus).

What do we offer? 

We offer you a challenging and varied position at a socially relevant organization for 32 hours per week. You will be offered an initial one-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment. You will earn a gross monthly salary between €3,218 and €4,298 (depending on experience), based on scale 8 of the Collective Labor Agreement for Dutch Universities. The PO-Raad operates on a 38-hour workweek. 

We also offer excellent benefits, such as:

  • a generous leave policy of 232 hours, with the option for additional compensatory leave
  • an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%, 
  • an excellent pension plan with the ABP
  • the option to work remotely 
  • A travel allowance or an NS Business Card if your commute to our office is more than 10 kilometers.
  • An internet allowance of €25 per month and a work-from-home allowance. 

Where will you be working?

The PO-Raad (located right next to Utrecht Overvecht Station) is a sector association for primary education. As an association, we represent the common interests of school organizations in primary education, special primary education, and (secondary) special education. 

Every day, our members are dedicated to providing the best possible education for their students. Through collaboration and knowledge sharing, they continue to innovate and improve.

The PO-Raad promotes, supports, and represents the sector, ensuring that the voice of primary education is heard loud and clear. Together with approximately 80 dedicated staff members, we work to provide high-quality and accessible education for all children. We place great value on a diverse and inclusive workplace.
