Would you like to help build a more sustainable society? CE Delft, a leader in sustainable solutions for over 45 years, is seeking a candidate for its Sustainable City department:
Sustainable City Advisor/Developer (Junior) – CE Delft
What will you be doing?
- Developing new products and services (such as complex computational models and automated analyses).
- Conducting (data) analyses and research to support municipalities, regions, and provinces in the energy and heating transition.
- Working in multidisciplinary project teams with a variety of clients and challenges.
- Examples: creating fact sheets, analyzing large datasets (e.g., CEGOIA, CEKER, and CEGEM models), and conducting geographic analyses (GIS).
- Because you develop products that can be applied in many municipalities, you gain an ever-deeper understanding of the challenges and commonalities faced by Dutch municipalities in the energy transition. This allows us to continuously improve our products and services.
Who are you?

- Strong in analytical thinking and able to explain complex information clearly.
- Experience with Python or GIS, for example, is a plus.
- Self-motivated and good at setting priorities.

What are we looking for?
- A completed associate’s or bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, urban planning, sustainability, or energy.
- Preferably, experience (through an internship or work) at a consulting firm, government agency, or utility company.
What do we offer?
CE Delft is passionately committed to addressing sustainability challenges in the fields of energy, the economy, mobility, and raw material and production chains. Within our Sustainable Cities practice, we translate this expertise into concrete advice for municipalities on how to make their cities and towns more sustainable. We offer you:
- An informal, non-hierarchical work environment within a young and experienced team.
- The opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues with a wide range of expertise.
- Opportunities for personal growth and specialization; we take a broad approach to all sustainability challenges.
