A safe living environment is a community effort. And some residents and organizations could use a little help. Will you show them the way to self-reliance and community support, and to a safe (and fire-safe) living environment?
In the field of fire safety and safety in general, you help develop all kinds of great initiatives. Your goal is to reduce fire risks and further improve residents’ ability to help themselves and each other. Following an incident or in response to a current national issue, you primarily identify opportunities to raise fire safety awareness, change behavior, and thereby make the living environment safer from fire. For example, your tasks include:
As an ambassador for fire and life safety, you will build a strong network of relationships that you will maintain with dedication. You will participate in national working groups and establish a network with municipalities, other safety regions, and other organizations that serve as safety partners. In doing so, you will represent the interests of our organization while remaining attentive to the interests of others. In addition to organizing and implementing projects, you will also use your knowledge and expertise to contribute to policy plans, media content, and campaigns. You may occasionally work in the evenings or on weekends, and you will handle this with flexibility.
You are responsible for—and take ownership of—the results the team achieves. You organize the necessary (thematic) structure across departments and identify opportunities by making connections. On occasion, you provide information or give a presentation to organizations and various target groups. You have an open attitude and possess such strong communication skills that you are able to coach colleagues in reaching diverse target groups, such as young people, students, seniors, and residents from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
You are an enthusiastic, creative, and enterprising person who works well in a team but is also capable of working independently and building a network. You enjoy writing and working on projects. You are a connector, customer-focused, and results-oriented. You have a college-level education and way of thinking.
You are confident and communicate clearly. As a consultant, you don’t just focus on the content; you also ensure that your recommendations are implemented. You have strong analytical skills and are attuned to the organization and its dynamic environment.
