What will you be doing?
As a Learning & Development Consultant, you will guide the development of both employees and the organization. You are an assertive and approachable professional who can independently design and expand a robust, future-proof learning program. You identify development needs, translate them into appropriate solutions, and oversee their implementation.
You will also develop and implement external training and continuing education programs for healthcare professionals and have ample opportunity to take on new initiatives. You will also play a key role in the implementation of a learning management system. Drawing on your expertise, you will advise managers and colleagues on a wide range of training and development issues. In this way, you not only foster the professional growth of employees and external professionals, but also make a tangible contribution to the sustainable development and professionalization of the organization.
You will be joining a professional organization with a pleasant, collegial, and welcoming work environment. As a Learning & Development Consultant, you will be part of the Consultation & Training department. You will work in a small team that currently consists of a manager and a professional development specialist. The team is expected to grow further in the coming years. The team is characterized by its personal, approachable, and engaged nature, with room for collaboration and a sense of humor.
In this role, you will work closely with the Consultation & Training team and the Communications & Collaboration department. You will also participate in monthly team meetings and maintain regular contact with your immediate colleagues. With your teaching expertise, initiative, and solution-oriented approach, you will make a valuable contribution to the team and the ongoing development of our educational offerings. You will work in a hybrid capacity: both from our office in The Hague and from home.
One of the main objectives of the Euthanasia Expertise Center is to make it easier for doctors across the country to assess requests for euthanasia from their own patients. This applies in particular to primary care physicians, general practitioners, and geriatricians. We do this by sharing our knowledge and expertise with them.
