
Are you the key person who connects the various departments within the Amsterdam-Amstelland Fire Department? Do you have the operational knowledge and experience to further develop the IBGS specialty? If so, we are looking for you as an advisor with an IBGS specialty and invite you to apply.
As an advisor specializing in IBGS within the Operational Planning Department, you serve as the link between the Operational Planning, Professional Competence, and Law Enforcement departments. You ensure that the IBGS specialty is fully integrated within the organization and provide tactical advice to management, commanders, and other departments regarding developments in this field.
You will foster collaboration between departments and ensure that everyone is working toward the same goal. In addition, you will be responsible for reporting on the progress and performance of the IBGS specialty, and you will participate in national and regional meetings to further develop the specialty and coordinate efforts within the safety regions and national support centers.
Together with the Professional Competence Department, you will work to improve proficiency and will be jointly responsible for organizing the theme days for IBGS specialists, in collaboration with the IBGS instructors.
You may serve as a project manager for new projects, including the implementation of new materials and the monitoring of processes to ensure continuity and operational readiness.

The Public Transport Division is part of the Fire and Rescue Services sector. The Public Transport Division consists of three teams: the Information-Driven Incident Response Team, the Firewater and Accessibility Team, and the Development and Specialization Team.
