Library Oostland is an innovative organization that provides an inspiring learning environment and a dynamic gathering place in every community in Oostland. We are looking for an NT2 instructor (m/f/x) for our Taalhuis. This is a 24-hour-per-week position. The Taalhuis Oostland is part of the Oostland Library and has been operating as a Taalhuis for many years. Together with the Z-route coordinator and using the Piëzo Method, you will guide participants toward self-reliance in Oostland’s community.
What will you be doing?
You will be teaching classes for the
participants in the Z-route. The Z-route is part of the
civic integration program that the Library will begin offering in mid-2022
in Oostland, and you’ll play a key role in it! You’ll be
teaching participants both group and individual lessons, as well as creating
study materials and a curriculum and setting specific goals. Furthermore,
you will seamlessly adapt to cultural differences and actively encourage the use of the
Dutch language.

What do we offer?
An
enjoyable and challenging position in a modern and professional library that
is constantly evolving. Our terms of employment are in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement
for Public Libraries. The salary is based on pay scale 7, depending on
education and experience, and ranges from a minimum of €2,385 to a maximum of €3,162
gross per month for a 36-hour workweek. Workdays are determined by mutual agreement.
This is a project-based contract with a temporary position, initially for one year.
