Job Description
The Delft Technology Fellowship offers high-profile positions to outstanding female academic researchers in research areas where the faculties of Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) seek to strengthen their capabilities.
As a fellow, you will be offered the unique opportunity to establish your own internationally renowned research program, including a generous start-up grant. The fellowships are awarded at the full, associate, or assistant professor level.

Requirements
You are a highly talented and motivated female academic scientist with a PhD in a relevant discipline, possessing the necessary experience to contribute and excel as a full professor, or the ambition to grow into the role. You have a proven commitment to scientific excellence, as evidenced by, for example, publications in top-tier international scientific journals, the ability to secure external research funding, and an extensive international network. You have postdoctoral work experience in industry or academia.
Depending on your level of experience, you are an academic leader who guides and motivates your group, or have the clear potential to develop into one. You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, a coaching leadership style, and experience supervising research projects. You are self-reflective and able to balance your personal ambitions with your role as a member of a team of top-tier colleagues. You are an engaging teacher, and you will be expected to participate in and contribute to the development of the department’s teaching program. The fellowship program is open to academic scientists who are not currently employed by TU Delft.
Our primary goal is to provide inspiring, high-quality education. If you have less than 5 years of teaching experience, we expect you to obtain a University Teaching Qualification (UTQ) within three years. This is offered through the TU Delft UTQ program.
TU Delft sets high standards for the English proficiency of its teaching staff. TU Delft offers training to improve English proficiency. If you do not speak Dutch, we offer courses to help you learn Dutch within three years.
