Trainer-coach

The Peer-to-Peer (P2P) method offers schools the opportunity to involve students in each other’s development. Using the P2P approach, schools work toward a sustainable methodology in which young people collaborate with one another in a structured way, based on equality and in various peer roles. Peers can be classmates, but also students from other (higher) grade levels. The P2P method is used in many countries, both in schools and beyond. In the Netherlands, too, the demand for evidence-based and sustainable peer learning methodologies is growing rapidly. Peers support one another systematically and at various levels. Peers are more closely aligned in terms of language, culture, and communication. The barrier to sharing experiences with one another is low and accessible. For our growing organization, we are looking for trainer-coaches who want to implement the Peer2Peer method in secondary and vocational education.

Profile:

• You are an experienced trainer/coach;
• You have strong advisory skills; with a clear understanding of the subject matter, you know how to match supply and demand;
• You have experience in (interactive) training for both adults and young people and are skilled at adapting to group dynamics;
• Experience in education is a strong advantage;
• You are also an optimist, a team player, and a driven individual.

Duties/responsibilities:

• As a trainer-coach, you know how to build support for the Peer2Peer methodology within a school (administration, team leaders, teachers, students);
• You are skilled at advising schools and helping them develop a P2P Action Plan before teacher and student training begins;
• As a trainer-coach, you know how to deliver inspiring training sessions that ensure teachers are well-informed about the P2P approach and get excited about it.

Agreement/Billing

• We will enter into a collaboration agreement with you under which we will hire you as an independent contractor.
• Most of our invoices are VAT-exempt. If you are a self-employed professional, it is important that you are registered with crkbo.nl in order to issue VAT-exempt invoices.
