🚀 Starting in September 2024, we at Milieudefensie Jong are looking for: 3 top trainees (0.4 FTE / 15 hours) who want to join our team!

What will you be doing?

As a trainee with us, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced organizers to launch campaigns and activities. You’ll have the freedom to lead your own team of enthusiastic young volunteers—our defenders. With us, you can truly make your voice heard and contribute to the future of our planet.

🌍 What are the options?

1. Community Organizing Intern

Coordinate and mentor young volunteers.
Increase and strengthen youth engagement throughout the Netherlands.
Organize fun activities that will give both our campaign and our team spirit a boost.

2. Communications Intern

Manage our social media channels and create engaging content.
Make sure that all Milieudefensie Jong activities are captured on video.
Design promotional materials that reinforce our message.

3. Campaign Organizing Intern

Lead and coordinate volunteers during our campaigns.
Organize events, campaigns, and demonstrations that help advance our goals.
Make sure every event runs smoothly and is a success.

Who do you work with?

You will work as part of a team of 5 trainees and 3 experienced organizers. You will also work closely with your team of young volunteers and draw on the diverse expertise of your colleagues at Milieudefensie. You will report to the Movement Building Coordinator.

A one-year contract with the option to extend.
A salary of €2,969 for full-time employment. At Milieudefensie, that amounts to 37.5 hours.
