Are you someone who gets a thrill from perfect sound, smoothly running performances, and tight technical teamwork? Then this is the place for you. Kunstmin is looking for a theater technician specializing in audio who takes responsibility, thinks ahead, and ensures that every performance is technically rock-solid.
Kunstmin is the premier theater in Dordrecht and the Drechtsteden region. We present, produce, and develop innovative performing arts—both in our historic Schouwburg and in the industrial Energiehuis, which features venues such as Machine 3 and Ketel 1. This is where culture comes to life. As part of the Theater Technology team, you’ll make a direct contribution to the quality of our performances and to the experience of both artists and audiences.
As a theater technician specializing in audio, you are one of the driving forces behind the technical production of our programming and events. You will work as part of a close-knit team of six permanent technicians and several temporary staff members. Together, you will ensure the seamless preparation, setup, and execution of performances and events.
In practical terms, this means:
You are a technical professional who enjoys collaboration, taking on responsibility, and applying creativity to your work. You think ahead, stay calm under pressure, and adapt easily when the situation calls for it.
We ask:
A varied technical role in a dynamic organization where hospitality, craftsmanship, and teamwork are key. You’ll work in a team that offers opportunities for growth and encourages you to contribute ideas on new technical developments.
We offer:
In short,
You ensure that our performances are technically flawless. You collaborate seamlessly with creators, colleagues, and companies. You work meticulously, think ahead, and strengthen a technical team that works together smoothly and adapts creatively.
Do you recognize yourself or someone you know in the description above? If so, we’d love to hear from you! Please send your cover letter and resume by January 23 tovacature@kunstmin.nl, with the subject line “Theater Technician.”
Please contact Bart Meester, Head of Engineering, atbart@kunstmin.nl.
