About the course 

As a member of the Executive Secretariat team, you will work closely with the Executive Secretary to provide optimal support to the Executive Board, the Supervisory Board, the Management Team, and the shareholders in the decision-making process and the related administrative documentation.

What will you be doing? 

As a member of the board secretariat team, you will assist the board secretary in maintaining order and developing and upholding a consistent structure to ensure optimal support for the decision-making process. Your responsibilities will include:  

  • Preparing management meetings and setting the agenda in consultation with the executive secretary   
  • Minutes of management meetings (action items and decisions) 
  • Preparing executive board meetings, supervisory board meetings, and shareholder meetings in collaboration with the board secretary 
  • Assist the executive secretary with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, booking meeting locations, and ensuring that corporate processes for our stakeholders are properly managed (including document archiving, version control, and assigning and following up on tasks). 

Your profile 

At least 3–7 years of work experience as a secretary, administrative assistant, executive assistant, or legal support staff member in a dynamic political/administrative environment: 

  • You can handle stress and keep an eye on the big picture 
  • You are honest, service-oriented, and skilled at coordinating between different stakeholders 
  • You are able to express yourself clearly in Dutch, both in writing and verbally 
  • You hold your own in lively conversations and discussions, you’re not afraid to ask questions, and you’re eager to learn.
