We are committed to promoting a bi+ inclusive society in which every individual in the Netherlands can experience love, lust, desire, and relationships, free from rigid norms and expectations regarding sex, gender, and sexual orientation, and with due regard for everyone’s consent, mutual respect, and equality.
As Bi+ Nederland, in our work toward a bi+ inclusive society, we hold our core values—courage, playfulness, professionalism, positivity, and accessibility—in the highest regard in everything we do.
Bi+ Nederland values and recognizes the importance of diversity within the organization and will prioritize this throughout the entire recruitment process. We strive to ensure that our organization is diverse in terms of gender (x/m/f), age, background, and experience.
Would you like to help build a bi+ inclusive society? Bi+ Nederland is looking for a Team Leader and a Junior Communications & Media Officer. Bi+ Nederland advocates for the interests of approximately 1 million bi+ people. They make up the largest—yet, until now, largely invisible—group within the LGBTI+ community. We focus on promoting a bi+ inclusive society, in which every individual in the Netherlands can experience love, lust, desire, and relationships, free from fixed norms and expectations regarding sex, gender, and sexual orientation, and with respect for everyone’s consent, mutual respect, and equality.
The monosexual norm renders bi+ people invisible, prevents bi+ sexual orientation from being recognized as a valid and stable orientation, and subjects bi+ people to prejudice, which has been shown to be linked to reduced well-being within the bi+ community. That is why Bi+ Nederland focuses on both heteronormativity and mononormativity.
As Bi+ Nederland, in our work toward a bi+ inclusive society, we hold our core values—courage, playfulness, professionalism, positivity, and accessibility—in the highest regard in everything we do. Bi+ Nederland values and recognizes the importance of a diverse organizational composition and will prioritize this throughout the entire recruitment process. We strive for a diverse workforce in terms of gender (x/m/f), age, background, and experience.
