We are looking for a
Team Coordinator for Neighborhood Development & Quality of Life
28 hours per week
Amsterdam Southeast & Meerlanden
This is your job:
- You will be part of the Neighborhood Development & Quality of Life Department, which is responsible for all activities related to quality of life, community engagement, neighborhood management, residential disturbances, and local stakeholder management. Within the department, you will work as part of a team of enthusiastic and knowledgeable colleagues;
- You will serve as the right-hand person to the Neighborhood Development & Quality of Life Manager and occasionally stand in for the manager;
- In this dynamic role, you will constantly be coordinating with and across various departments, disciplines, and external parties.
- You manage the neighborhood managers on the team. You meet with them individually on a regular basis. You guide them in achieving their goals and facilitate team meetings, such as the monthly kick-off.
- You serve as a sounding board for the directors of healthcare and public nuisance.
- You will assist the neighborhood development and quality of life coordinators in the creation of neighborhood plans.
- You monitor the budget and track the progress of the neighborhood plans, which you discuss regularly with the neighborhood team.
- You identify processes and look for ways to improve them.
- You will address policy issues as needed, in collaboration with the Housing Policy Department.
- You will join the team to tackle complex issues or projects, supporting your colleagues and contributing your expertise.
This is your team:
You will be working in a dynamic team in Amsterdam Zuidoost, Ouder Amstel, Uithoorn, and Aalsmeer. The challenges in these neighborhoods and municipalities vary considerably. In some neighborhoods, we are actively engaged in urban renewal and addressing quality of life issues that are under significant pressure. In addition, we work in neighborhoods where our focus is primarily on maintaining a pleasant living environment. In all areas, we work together with residents and partners to build strong, inclusive neighborhood communities.

- At least a college-level level of thinking and work experience
- You have strong coaching and leadership skills
- You are decisive
- You are skilled at coordinating work and coaching employees, and you are able to bring together individuals with different roles and working in different locations to form a team;

- You are good at switching between different topics and themes;
- You have a well-developed ability to think abstractly and take a broad, overarching view; you understand how processes work;
- You have a keen understanding of organizational dynamics and are skilled at balancing various interests (both internal and external).

In exchange for sharing your talent, we offer you:
- In addition to a salary ranging from a minimum of €4,366 to a maximum of €5,897 gross per month based on a 36-hour workweek (Scale J of the Housing Services Collective Agreement), you will also receive a fixed year-end bonus of 6%
- In addition to a wide range of training and development opportunities, we also provide you with a personal training budget
- You'll be provided with a company phone and laptop.
