Changes at Cordaan’s Capacity Office 

Cordaan is overhauling its capacity management with centrally organized departments for elderly care and mental health care. This new structure promotes consistency and strengthens strategic planning and evaluation. As a Strategic Planner, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic plans that ensure the future-readiness of our care services.

• A one-year contract for32 to36 hours perweek, with the possibility of a permanent position
• Salary in accordance with the VVT collective bargaining agreement, FWG 55: min.€3,504.00and max.€5,029.00gross based on a 36-hour workweek
• Year-end bonus equal to8.33%of gross annual income and vacation pay
• Pension accrual through the Pensioenfonds Zorg & Welzijn pension fund and travel expense reimbursement in accordance with the VVT collective bargaining agreement
• A bicycle plan and bicycle repair reimbursement
• The option to work in a hybrid model.

What will you be doing? 

As a strategic planner, you will work on long-term capacity planning and translate data analyses and strategic ideas into concrete plans for operational planners. You will identify bottlenecks and make recommendations for improvement to management. In addition, you will serve in a coaching role and act as a key link in the implementation of improvements to capacity management. 

Turning complex challenges into strategic solutions—that’s what energizes you! How can we optimize staffing levels using the data we have? You can’t wait to run a data analysis and build predictive models that help inform strategic decisions. You also use AI to analyze real-time data on staff performance and client needs, allowing you to make predictions about staffing requirements based on specific care situations. For example, through AI analyses, you notice that certain times of the day or week show a peak in demand for care with specific specializations, and you propose a dynamic staffing schedule that adapts to these fluctuations to ensure quality of care and deploy staff efficiently. Where will you be working? 

You will be based at the Havengebouw, within Cordaan’s Integrated Capacity Office (ICB). There, you will support the capacity teams for both elder care and mental health care with your strategic insights and advice. 

What do you bring to the table?  

• You have completed a bachelor's degree program 
• You have knowledge of administrative and logistical processes and possess business acumen 
• Experience with data analysis and translating these analyses into strategic plans  
• You have knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as the Working Hours Act 
• You are proficient with Excel and AI tools 
• You have a coaching mindset and can inspire and motivate others. 
• Perseverance and a systematic approach are essential for initiating and implementing changes and developing policies 
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Integrity is crucial because it involves access to confidential personnel and organizational data 
• You are able to work independently within established organizational frameworks and possess social skills such as tact and persuasiveness
