Cordaan is overhauling its capacity management with centrally organized departments for elderly care and mental health care. This new structure promotes consistency and strengthens strategic planning and evaluation. As a Strategic Planner, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic plans that ensure the future-readiness of our care services.

As a strategic planner, you will work on long-term capacity planning and translate data analyses and strategic ideas into concrete plans for operational planners. You will identify bottlenecks and make recommendations for improvement to management. In addition, you will serve in a coaching role and act as a key link in the implementation of improvements to capacity management.
Turning complex challenges into strategic solutions—that’s what energizes you! How can we optimize staffing levels using the data we have? You can’t wait to run a data analysis and build predictive models that help inform strategic decisions. You also use AI to analyze real-time data on staff performance and client needs, allowing you to make predictions about staffing requirements based on specific care situations. For example, through AI analyses, you notice that certain times of the day or week show a peak in demand for care with specific specializations, and you propose a dynamic staffing schedule that adapts to these fluctuations to ensure quality of care and deploy staff efficiently. You will be based at the Havengebouw, within Cordaan’s Integrated Capacity Office (ICB). There, you will support the capacity teams for both elder care and mental health care with your strategic insights and advice.
