Here's what you'll be doing as a senior organizational consultant

Diverse assignments

You will work on various assignments focused on organizational development or strategy and policy in the social sector. Depending on your expertise, experience, and professional development needs, your assignments may range from, for example, developing a strategy for a social services organization, conducting research for a municipality on youth care, or supporting an education team with educational innovation.

Thinking and Doing

You’ll work on about five to seven projects of varying sizes at the same time, ensuring quality and overseeing the process. In your work, you’re able to get to the heart of the matter and see the bigger picture. In every advisory process, you incorporate the latest (scientific) developments and actively engage with the field. You are able to hold a conversation at every level of an organization: from a young person dropping out of school to the city council member. The advice we provide is rock-solid and yields lasting results. We believe it is important that our clients and the target audience find our projects refreshing.

Mentoring colleagues

With energy and humor, you work together with colleagues to develop a recommendation. Everyone’s contribution matters. In projects, you take everyone’s perspective into account and combine different viewpoints to achieve the best possible outcome. Within your projects, you mentor colleagues (from interns to experienced consultants), challenging and inspiring them.

Get Involved

You will serve as a sounding board for the three partners at Goed geschud. You will lead internal projects and help build our organization and strengthen our company’s position in the social sector.

Acquisition

You play a key role in business development. You actively seek out new business opportunities and leverage your own network to secure projects. You coordinate and help draft proposals, and conduct initial consultations and proposal presentations.

• You must be available for at least 32 hours per week.

In addition, we are considering:

• At least 9 years of work experience as a consultant, project leader, program manager, or supervisor in the social sector;
• An academic program;
• Work experience in our fields is a plus;
• Firsthand experience with the issues we address is a plus. For example, this could stem from your personal background—such as growing up in a bilingual or bicultural family—or from experience in youth services or a career in education.

What we offer

• You’ll follow a customized Goed geschud development program that includes both internal and external training and education, because we believe professional development is a given;
• You will receive a Public Transportation Business Card that also allows you to travel for free for personal use;
• You can work either at our cozy office in downtown Utrecht or from home.
• We have lunch together on our office day on Wednesdays. You can enjoy lunch and fruit at the office.
• You are entitled to 32 vacation days per year and receive an 8% vacation bonus. You take two weeks of vacation in July and August; you can choose when to take the remaining vacation days (for example, if you want to work on Easter Monday but take the day off for Eid al-Fitr, that’s fine);
• We contribute 8% of your salary to your pension; 
• We adjust our salaries annually in April to reflect market rates;
• Finally, this position naturally comes with a competitive salary. The salary for this role ranges from €5,609 to €6,918 gross per month (based on a 40-hour workweek, excluding vacation pay). We will determine your pay grade based on your level of experience.
