Digital innovations, such as AI and app development, are rapidly transforming healthcare. However, these solutions are not accessible, understandable, or user-friendly for everyone. Furthermore, they are often not developed in an inclusive manner. As a result, health disparities can (unintentionally) widen. At Pharos, we are working on inclusive digital and hybrid healthcare that is understandable and accessible to everyone, regardless of background, language proficiency, or health status.
As a strategic advisor/project manager for AI and digital healthcare, you’ll play a key role in this area. You’ll bring a broad perspective on developments in healthcare, connect stakeholders, and demonstrate how digital healthcare and AI can contribute to inclusive care in a people-centered way. In this way, you’ll help reduce health disparities. Are you ready to join us in making a difference in inclusive digital healthcare? Apply now!
What will you be doing?
- You monitor and analyze developments in the field of inclusive digital healthcare and AI. You examine policy, practice, technology, and ethics. You translate this information into opportunities and risks for equal access to healthcare;
- You will contribute to a systems analysis in which we examine how inclusive digital healthcare is developed, implemented, and funded. You will provide strategic advice to partners such as municipalities, healthcare organizations, and national entities;
- You will serve as the AI lead within and on behalf of Pharos. You will examine the impact of AI on access to and the quality of care, as well as the risks of exclusion for vulnerable residents. You will advise colleagues and partners, and develop a clear vision and approach. You will ensure the organization is well-structured and prioritize the importance of this issue;
- You will build and maintain a network focused on AI in the (hybrid) healthcare sector;
- You actively seek out new assignments. You write research proposals and multi-year programs and secure new projects.
What do you bring to the table?
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, with a background in fields such as health sciences, policy & administration, data/AI, Human Technology, or innovation.
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience at the strategic level in digital healthcare, innovation, or policy.
- You have knowledge of developments in AI and the digital healthcare landscape, and you are mindful of the ethical and social implications of these developments.
- You are skilled at bridging the gap between policy and practice, and you know how to translate complex information into clear, strategic recommendations.
- You have a relevant network in digital healthcare and AI.
- You are highly motivated to reduce health disparities and improve digital inclusion, and you are skilled at working with people who have difficulty using digital tools.
